Galaxy A25 Found on Samsung Servers, Begins Internal Testing for One UI 9 Android 17

We’ve been seeing a lot of Galaxy devices on Samsung test servers with their first internal One UI 9 builds. It seems they have just started working on a test firmware for the Samsung Galaxy A25. This handset has also made a cameo on the Samsung servers now. This is everything you need to know.

The tricode for the new One UI 9 test firmware that was just found by Tarun Vats on X is A256BXXUCFZF1/A256BOXMCFZF1/A256BXXUCFZF1. They usually make a test firmware and put it on their local servers so it can be tested internally. So it can be considered an alpha build of sorts.

It isn’t ready to be released to the public as a stable update or even an official beta. But the fact that it showed up on Samsung servers means that the Galaxy A25 will support One UI 9 and that they’ve started developing the update.

There’s little known about the One UI 9 update specific to the Samsung Galaxy A25, but this system has generally been shipping with the same few UI changes and features. One UI 9 has actually reached the third beta release on the Galaxy S26 series. That’s the only lineup in that development stage. Here you can check accurate Samsung mobile prices in Pakistan for every Galaxy series.

The last beta that was seen on the Galaxy S26 series was 1.7GB. And the Samsung Notes app had put some new features in the update. The quick panel is made even more customizable than before. Of course, the core system is leveled up to Android 17.

It’s a UI design overhaul for the most part. Brightness and volume sliders are thicker now. Waveform animations are refined on the quick panel media player widget. There are gradient and glassy UI effects everywhere in the system. They are pumping even more AI tools into One UI 9. It will take a few months for the beta update to reach the Galaxy A25. Keep watching the news for updates.
