Honor 600 is relatively new. It was just released in May, but it will soon be forgotten at the six-month mark after they drop the Honor 700. This device is already getting leaked left and right, and if the claims being made are legit, we are about to see the most innovative model in the series yet.
Digital Chat Station has been keeping track of this device, and he has posted leak after leak on Weibo over the past few days. And this is everything he has to say in those leaks. Well, he has mainly talked about a very small rear native screen on the Honor 700.
The leak specifically said that a slim Honor phone will get a native second display on the back, which is probably a 1.7” diagonal size. The name wasn’t given in any of the leaks. DCS is keeping this information to himself for now, but experts agree it’s Honor flagship new mobile.
The second screen is not the only thing they’ve been working on. Honor has a new battery under testing, says DCS. This cell is probably meant for the Honor Power 3. It’s an impossibly large 12,000mAh battery, which will be a big upgrade from Power 2’s 10,080mAh cell.
That’s right. The rated energy of this huge cell is 43.86Wh, or an 11,790mAh cell, which might be promoted as a 12,000mAh typical cell. We are looking for more sources for verification, but this seems to be a credible enough leak for coverage in several publications.
Another post from DCS gave us a few clues about the folding phone they’ve been working on. Surprise, surprise, Honor is also gunning for a wide-screen foldable after the Galaxy Z Fold 8, because they are exploding in popularity right now.
Wide or not, there’s a strong possibility of a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and 7000mAh batteries on the new folding device. Honor also wants to expedite the launch of the Honor Win 2 series, by the way.
