Apple iPhone 15 Ultra; The highest-end Sibling will Increase the Cost by 200$ Next Year

Another startling news about the following year's iPhone 15 series is now breaking the internet. The Cupertino-based manufacturer plans to jet the starting price of the upcoming iPhone 15 Ultra. The news came from one of the most credible Apple leakers in the Industry, the "LeaksApplePro," claiming that the rising production costs on the Ultra will increase its retail price by almost 200$.

The Ultra leaks aired in the past few weeks bore claims about its titanium build, top-ranked specs in the whole lineup, better battery and image quality than its siblings, etc. It's no secret; higher build quality and specs must affect the prices.

According to LeaksApplePro, compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max's starting price of $1099, the iPhone 15 Ultra's price will start at $1299. That marks a dramatic cost jump never seen in the history of iPhones. In the leaker's words, the hefty charge for the impending addition to the iPhone rate list next year has two driving factors. The Production costs added with the higher quality build (titanium) and improved features. Inflation that's spiking the rates of everything bought.

Apple Inc, in need of maintaining margins, will bump up the Ultra's Price to 1299$ next year. At this cost, users will find a strengthened chassis, improved protection against drops, 256GB starting storage (enhanced from 128GB), a dual camera setup on the front, and a type C port.

It's still unclear how the iPhone 15 Ultra's 1299$ (~293,000 PKR) tag will affect the prices of other siblings in the lineup. Undoubtedly, Apple's increased costs will be subject to a high degree of skepticism. Due to iPhone's exclusive nature in Pakistan, importing fees, PTA taxes, and the shortage, iPhone 14 Pro retails at around 495,000 PKR (2195$). iPhone 15 Ultra's price in the country is bound to get way out of reach.
