Samsung Galaxy A04e Receives One UI 6.0 Update Infused with Latest Android 14

Samsung is now rolling out the One UI 6.0 update based on the Android 14 platform to its Galaxy A04e. The update, currently making its way to devices in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, brings forth numerous enhancements in UI and packs all the latest features of Android 14. Here’s a low down on what to expect.


Samsung Galaxy A04e is receiving the firmware version A042FXXU6DXA3, a package that introduces the December 2023 security patch and marks the device's transition to the new Android iteration. It’s the beginning of a new chapter for the device, rejuvenated by Google’s latest software.

While the exact release schedule for other regions remains undisclosed, users can anticipate the update's arrival on their units in the coming days as the rollout progresses gradually. Samsung budget latest model users in Pakistan should keep an eye out for its arrival.


To manually check for the update, users should navigate to Settings > Software Update and tap Download and Install to receive the latest improvements and features on time. The staggered rollout aims to cover all Galaxy A04e units promptly.


As a quick reminder, the Samsung Galaxy A04e, launched in 2022, boasts a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC, accompanied by 3GB or 4GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 32GB to 128 GB. Its 6.5-inch HD+ PLS display provides an immersive view for multimedia content.

In the camera department, the smartphone features a 13MP primary camera with a 2MP depth sensor, complemented by a 5MP selfie shooter. With the OneUI 6.0 firmware, the Galaxy A04e joins the ranks of devices that are up to date with the latest Android experience.
