Xiaomi Redmi 10C's price to its performance ratio is quite reasonable but short living. First, the Redmi 11A made headlines on the internet yesterday and shortly the sibling Redmi 12C showed up on leaks. Both prospective entry-tier phones are about to head out. A new model number, “2212ARNC4L,” just showed up in leaks. Here’s the whole story.

Multiple leak hunts have corroborated that “2212ARNC4L” belongs to the oncoming Xiaomi Redmi 12C. The model number initially appeared on the FCC database with no info about the moniker. However, the newly sighted IMEI document under the same model number reveals the phone’s identity.

Unlike the usual sightings, the IMEI and the FCC databases had no significant specifications worth noting. However, it did point out that the Redmi 12C supports your typical run-of-the-mill dual-band Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity. Instead of the latest Android 13 OS, the phone will bear an outdated MIUI 13 operating system based on Android 12.

While the tipsters are out hunting for the specs of the new 4G Xiaomi mobile aka the Redmi 12C, the stats on Redmi 11A have already surfaced. Being siblings from the same price segment - the stats on both phones should align.

According to its recent TENAA listing, Redmi 11A (moniker not confirmed) fashions a 6.708-inch IPS panel spanning at an HD+ resolution, a 50-megapixel selfie shooter, and a 50-megapixel dual-cam setup on the rear. An unknown octa-core SoC power the phone at a max 2.0GHz clock speed.

It will supposedly bear four RAM/ROM combos; 2GB, 4GB, 6GB, or 8GBs paired with 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB in-built storage, respectively. Its renders showcase a back-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the document entails a 5000mAh battery under the phone’s hood.
