Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Anticipates the Mega HyperOS Update; Android 14 on the Horizon

Exciting news for Redmi Note 12 users! Xiaomi is gearing up to roll out its much-anticipated HyperOS update to the device. The 4G model of the Redmi Note 12 will soon embrace the new operating system, marking a significant milestone since its launch. 

GSMChina, the renowned publication, confirmed the imminent update, uncovering HyperOS test builds for both the Redmi Note 12 4G and 4G NFC models. The internal HyperOS for the devices showcases firmware versions OS1.0.1.0.UMTMIXM and OS1.0.1.0.UMGMIXM.

Xiaomi has already added the update changelog to its internal test server, signaling that Redmi Note 12 users can anticipate the HyperOS 1.0 update soon. Notably, this upgrade positions the Redmi Note 12 as a potential pioneer in receiving the Android 14-based HyperOS globally.

The rollout, slated to kick off in mid-December, begins with HyperOS Pilot Testers. Tech enthusiasts eager to get a sneak peek can apply to join the HyperOS Pilot program, ensuring early access to cutting-edge features. Since it is a beta testing phase, the pilot program may not be accessible in Pakistan. However, the stable update is expected to arrive soon.

Revisiting the new 4G Xiaomi mobile's specs, the device packs the punch of a Snapdragon 685 processor and sports a 6.67-inch Full HD OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The camera setup features a 50MP primary camera, an 8 MP wide-angle lens, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 13 MP selfie camera. 

Fueling this beast is a 5000mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging for quick and efficient top-ups. As the HyperOS update awaits the rollout, Redmi Note 12 users have a thrilling Android 14 experience to look forward to, enriching their smartphones with enhanced UI and performance.
