After its Chinese debut in December, Redmi Note 12 5G became globally official in January. Now, a 4G variant of the same device seems imminent. Dubbed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G, the upcoming addition to the lineup will bring a different SoC under the hood, and we've been hearing about it constantly on the web.

Indexed with model number 23021RAAEG, Redmi Note 12 4G was initially spotted on IMEI Database. Shortly after, it got listed on NBTC, TDRA, IMDA, and FCC links. Multiple certification listings hint that the device will launch globally, starting with the markets like Singapore, Thailand, and the US.

The model number "23021RAAEG" is the only thing common in all their documents, and there are no notable details about the phone on any of them. FCC reveals that Note 12 4G has two memory configurations; the starter 6+128GB and the slightly higher-end 128GB with 8GB RAM.

Rumors entail Note 12 4G with Android 13 x MIUI 14 support and an even cheaper memory combo of 4+64GB. It's hard to speculate what kind of CPU the 4G variant will bear. The Rumor verse seems to believe that Helio G99 is the likely choice for the Xiaomi note new model. Unlike Note 12 5G's Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, the G99 boasts higher clock speeds and GPU performance.

We'll have to wait for more sources to confirm if Redmi Note 12 4G has the Helio G99. In specs and design, the upcoming variant should feature specs identical to the original; an AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh, a triple Camera 48MP + 8MP + 2MP setup, a 13MP selfie unit, a Side-mounted fingerprint reader, 5000mAh cell, and 33 Watt fast charging. Its ancestor for the last year is readily available in the market if you are in a hurry and don't want to wait any longer. Xiaomi Redmi 128GB Note 11 price in Pakistan starts at Rs. 54,999.
