Two new budget phones from Redmi will head out soon. Xiaomi Redmi 12C and Redmi Note 12 4G. Multiple certification agencies worldwide have approved both; TDRA, IMDA, NBTC, FCC, etcetera. Apart from pointing out their imminent launch, these listings suggest their global unveiling.

Alongside all that jazz on certification listings, the rumor mill has discovered an official product page for Redmi 12C. Turkey’s official Xiaomi link briefly added a microsite for the newcomer 12C on their page. It stayed on for a while, and then the chain pulled it down for unknown reasons.

Xiaomiui, the community forum, promptly took screenshots of the product page before the chain took it down. The details on those shots are now roaming the internet, confirming most of the phone’s specifications. Here’s everything in-depth.

On the surface level specs, Redmi 12C has a 6.71-inch HD+ display with an abrupt drop-shaped notch. The Xiaomi new C model likely has a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The front shooter is 5MP, while its primary back-mounted camera is 50MP Ai, sporting night mode, Portrait, and HDR photography.

At the core level, it boasts a mid-range Helio G85 SoC loaded with 6GB RAM, virtually expandable by up to 5 gigs. The power key on its right side has an embedded biometric fingerprint scanner, adding an extra layer of privacy. It will feature four shades; black, purple, green, and blue, all with diagonal line patterns.

Redmi 12C and Redmi Note 12 4G will unveil globally, as suggested by the leak circle’s usually-reliable tipster Mukul Sharma. Its pricing details are yet to surface; however, the rumors entail its starting price somewhere around 149 Euros (~Rs. 44,000) going as high as 199 Euros (~PKR 59,000) for additional RAM and ROM. Its precursor, however, is available on domestic shelves. The Redmi 10C 4GB price in Pakistan is around Rs. 44,000.
