Xiaomi Poco M8 Series Surfaces in Leaked Renders; Design Mirrors Redmi Note 15 Lineup

Poco F8 series already debuted, the X8 family is very close to launch, and just below, there’s a Poco M8 lineup about to arrive in the global market. This series has familiar handsets. Their names are Poco M8 and M8 Pro, but they are actually just rebranded Redmi Note 15 and 15 Pro. We’ve found their renders in a leak.

These phones have already been seen on certifications, so we know they are real. WinFuture’s publication has somehow found a bunch of renders, and both the Poco M8 and M8 Pro are completely exposed with colors in those images.

You can already tell this is a familiar look. And it’s no coincidence that Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 and Poco M8 series are making their way to global launch at the same time. There may be a few differences in design. Some specifications may also change, so keep that in mind.

The WinFuture’s report says that there’s a 6.83” OLED panel on Xiaomi's latest Poco mobile, and it’s 1.5K resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It will have a flat profile, as the images foreshadow here. The M8 Pro will easily handle that resolution and refresh rate with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip.

There’s also a 6500mAh battery on the Pro, and the backup is a 100W fast charger. These specs sound more like the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus than the standard Pro. We still have room for more accurate details as we get near the official launch.

The basic M8 has a curved display at the edges, which means it’s definitely based on the Redmi Note 15. The screen on the M8 is reported as a 6.77” OLED with only FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. There’s no premium chipset here, just your ordinary Snapdragon 6 Gen 3.

The battery pack is a bit smaller on the Poco M8. It’s just a 5520mAh cell with 45W charging for backup. This one’s an IP65-rated phone. The sibling M8 Pro is way more durable with an IP68 rating against water and dust. Their camera details were not mentioned in the report. Keep watching the news for more updates.
