Xiaomi Poco F6 Pro Spotted on NBTC Certification; Launch Expected Soon

Poco is gearing up to expand its lineup even more following the recent release of the Poco X6 and X6 Pro smartphones. The company's upcoming addition, the Poco F6 series, is causing a stir with the certification of the Poco F6 Pro by Thailand’s NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission), signaling an imminent launch.

With model number 23113RKC6G, the Poco F6 Pro's NBTC certification hints at an approaching market debut. Based on past trends, considering the release of the Poco F5 smartphone last May, industry experts anticipate a similar timeframe for the F6 Pro. Typically, devices certified by NBTC hit shelves within two months.

For instance, the Poco X6 Pro and X6 received NBTC certification in November and December, respectively, followed by an official launch in January. Following this pattern, it's reasonable to expect the Poco F6 Pro to launch in the market in April or May 2024.

Rumors surrounding the upcoming Xiaomi Poco phone's specifications suggest it might be a rebranded version of the Chinese Redmi K70. Notably, the K70's model number, 23113RKC6C, bears a striking resemblance with the F6 Pro’s serial number.

If speculation holds, the Poco F6 Pro will likely feature a 6.65-inch OLED display boasting 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it could draw the power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

On the camera front, expectations are for a triple camera setup on the rear, led by a 50MP primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). Accompanying that sensor will be an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro shooter. The device will also pack a robust 5000mAh battery and sport blazing-fast 120W charging.
