Xiaomi's global debut of their latest flagship series Xiaomi Mi 11 is still ongoing, but its predecessor series isn't wrapped up just yet. A new Mi 10 edition just launched in China. Xiaomi Mi 10S features a high-end chipset, camera, and display.

The Xiaomi Mi 10S has a curved screen, a quad-camera housed inside a chrome-accented island, and a beveled frame. There’s a hole-punch in the display, and the shell comes in blue, silver, and black colors.

We’re looking at a 6.67” AMOLED panel that produces a full HD resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It’s toughened with Gorilla Glass 5, and better color reproduction is ensured by HDR10+ support. Plus, an optical fingerprint scanner lives underneath it.

The new Xiaomi mobiles are breaking the set barriers, this time the company has included a dual stereo speaker, tuned by Harman Kardon. You’ll find a similar speaker setup inside the Mi 11. The camera system features a 108MP 1/1.33” sensor powered by optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a pair of 2MP depth and macro sensors. For selfies, you get a 20MP camera.

Inside the Xiaomi Mi 10S, there’s a Snapdragon 870 chipset, 8GB/12GB of next-gen LPDDR5 memory, and 12GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. It packs a 4780 mAh battery that fast charges at 33W over a wired connection and 30W wirelessly. Out of the box, the MIUI 12, based on Android11, powers the phone.

Xiaomi hasn’t shared when the Mi 10s goes global, but it might come to Pakistan too. The base edition starts from CNY 3,299 (~ Rs. 79,700), while the top-end variant costs CNY 3,799 (Rs. 91,800.)
