Vivo Z6 5G Teaser Reveals Snapdragon 765 Chipset along with other Connectivity Details; Arriving on February 29

Vivo Z6 5G is debuting in China on February 29, and the manufacturer has been teasing us with the phone design and specs ever since the official announcement. The latest of these teasers give us a peek into the SoC and connectivity details. Let’s take a closer look at Vivo mobile’s next sub-flagship. 


A new promo poster published by Vivo reveals that Vivo Z6 5G will feature a Snapdragon 765G chipset at its heart with an Adreno 620 GPU and an AI Engine baked into it. It also points to dual-mode 5G with support for SA and NSA bands. The dual-sim 4G + 5G setup uses AI to switch between 4G and 5G networks to ensure seamless connectivity. 


Thanks to SLA intelligent network acceleration, the phone will let you beef up your network speeds by combining 5G with dual-channel WiFi. The dual-WiFi acceleration tech itself can intelligently connect to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks for better stability.

Vivo has designed the hardware with a focus on gaming, as evident by Multi Turbo 3.0 technology and PC grade cooling. The phone utilizes a liquid cooling tube and multi-layered graphite sink for trapping heat. The tubing is 85 mm long, and the sink is 10,000 square millimeters, so it’s a fairly robust system. 


To power the setup, you get a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 44W fast-charging. As per TENNA listings, the Snapdragon 765G chipset is to be paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of onboard storage. It’ll be running on Vivo’s FunTouchOS layered on top of Android 10. 

As far as the Vivo Price for the handset is concerned, it will be the cheapest 5G handset so far. The display stretches across 6.57 inches and produces an FHD+ resolution. It also embeds a 16-megapixel lens for snapping selfies. On the real shell sits a quad-camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel sensor, 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a pair of 2-megapixel unknown cameras.
