The sequel to last year’s Vivo Z5, dubbed Vivo Z6 5G, is scheduled for launch on February 29. And the Chinese manufacturer has already teased fans with a promo poster describing a handful of key specifications along with the Vivo prices. Let’s take a look.

The Vivo Z6 5G poster showcases a display carrying a punch-hole for the front-facing camera on the top-right corner, razor-thin bezels, and a forehead that’s practically non-existent, providing you with a true Full-view display.

Although the promotional poster doesn’t confirm it, the screen could be a Super AMOLED panel since it rocks a punch-hole module.

The rear-facing panel features a quad-camera setup installed in a rectangular camera bump. The housing looks eerily similar to the one sitting on Samsung S20’s lineup -- virtually an L-style layout in a black domino-shaped cutout. Flanking this camera bump is a rear-mounted fingerprint reader that blends into the back panel. Speaking of which, the rear-facing panel will be available in Red, White, and a Blue-to-Purple Sunrise gradient (the edition pictured below).

Vivo opted for a Snapdragon 765G with a 5G modem (that offers dual-mode 5G) baked right into the SoC. The manufacturer also claims that the device will debut with ‘PC grade’ liquid cooling technology.

The details surrounding this tech are thin on the ground, but couple this with the 5,000 mAh battery and 44W fast charging support for the cell, the Z6 5G is shaping up to be a performance-first smartphone. At any rate, it will ship with Android 10 right out of the box.

The phone is currently listed on Chinese online store JD.com, where it’s available for pre-order until February 28, and it’ll retail for $285 or 44,000 Pakistani rupees without taxes. A decent Vivo price tag for a 5G handset.
