Vivo Y77 5G is an Upcoming Mid-ranger Featuring Dimensity 810 SoC and 5,000mAh Battery

July 7 will mark the debut of Vivo Y77 5G in China in a virtual event. The Pro variant of the Y77 is also tipped to release alongside. Recently, A reliable leakster named Paras Guglani has provided exclusive mockups of the handset also revealing the key internals, and we are here to report.


Vivo Y77 5G will draw its energy from a Mediatek Dimensity 810 SoC with 8 gigs of RAM, virtually extendable to 12GB, and 256GB expandable internal storage. This setup will power up a flat 6.58 inch 1080p IPS LCD refreshing at a standard 60 Hz. 

The rear shell boasts a Glittering AG matte design which holds the Y77 5G’s camera housing, resembling the recently launched Vivo Y55. The Y77 5G features flat edges, 8.2mm chassis, and 194g weight. Photography is handled by 50 MP primary and 2 MP macro shooters within two circular modules. Moreover, the 16 MP selfie camera is housed in a traditional water-drop notch bleeding into the display.


Y77 5G is expected to join the Vivo price catalog soon with a massive 5,000 mAh power unit supporting not-so-flashy 18W fast charging. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is used for biometric authentication, while face unlocking is also available. Users can experience Android-based FunTouch OS 12 on their brand new Y77 5G.

The handset will delight its users in Glowing Galaxy and Starlight Black shades. Y77 5g is also expected to hit other Asian countries after China, Malaysia is said to be the next destination for the upcoming handset. There’s no official statement regarding the price; however, the Y77 5G is expected to bear a price tag of CNY 1,300, roughly translating to some 40,000 Pak rupees.
