Vivo Y50 and Vivo Y30 Might Soon be Coming to Pakistan, Feature Big Batteries and Punched Displays

Although the company hasn’t made a formal announcement yet, Vivo might soon introduce the Vivo Y50 and Vivo Y30 to the Pakistani market. The speculation is based on the fact that Vivo is launching the duo in India this week, and if you go by the firm’s typical release calendar, a launch in Pakistan shouldn’t be far off.

91mobiles, citing a local source, reports that the Vivo Y50 and Y30 will be debuting in the next week or so. Given that, we can expect the two models to go official in Pakistan before July ends.

Vivo Y50

The Y50 is a mid-range Vivo, featuring a 6.53-inch punched Ultra-O screen that delivers an FHD+ resolution. The bezels surrounding this panel are slim all around, contributing to a 90.77% screen-to-body ratio.

Go around the back to find a 3D curved panel, painted in a textured radial light ray design that comes in Starry Black, Pearl White, and Iris Blue. An oversized camera bump and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner are also part of the shell.

An octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor does the number crunching, paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB ROM options. The battery powering this hardware has a 5,000 mAh capacity but doesn’t support fast charging.

The rear camera setup features a 13MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP combination, while the front camera has a 16MP sensor inside. It’s expected to start from Rs. 48,999.

Vivo Y30

The Y30 is a more pocket-friendly cousin of the Vivo Y50, and they both share a similar design language and build. You get a slightly smaller 6.53-inch Ultra O display that delivers an HD+ resolution and a screen-to-body ratio that reaches 90.7%.

The rear shell of the new Vivo Y30 has an almost identical sleek build as of the Y50, but it’s painted in a melting Moonstone White and a more expressive Dazzle Blue.

Its previous-gen MediaTek Helio P35 works with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The battery and OS specifications are carried over from Vivo Y50, as is the rear camera. The camera inside the punch-hole features a more modest 8MP lens, however. WhatMobile expects the phone to retail for Rs. 36,999.
