Apparently, Vivo Y31, which debuted in September last year, wasn’t a one-off device. It’s actually a series, and there’s soon going to be another model under the title Vivo Y31T. XpertPick laid down pretty much everything there is to know about the newcomer.
It’s a cheap entry-tier 5G phone by all metrics, which means they cut costs on other components in order to put a 5G chip on it. Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC is being used in Vivo Y31T’s case, which does a 2.2 GHz boost clock on the two main cores (out of eight total), and there’s reportedly only 6GB max RAM that tags along.
The storage speeds are UFS 2.2. There are at least three storage options for the Y31T. It’s either 4/128GB at the base level, or it can be upgraded to 6/128GB or 6/256GB. There’s some variety. ExpertPick has sourced an image for their insiders, and this is exactly how the phone looks in Seashore Green paint. Here is the updated Vivo mobile price list, featuring the latest devices and their current price ranges.
There are also Crimson Red and Gold Mist colors, but they had no images associated with them. Anyway, we found battery stats on the report as well, and they are going to put a 7200mAh cell on the Vivo Y31T with support for a maximum 44W charging input.
The leak doesn’t clarify. But it’s obvious that the built-in default OS on this newcomer will be Android 16 and Origin OS 6. The screen is LCD, not AMOLED. But the HBM brightness does hit 1250nits, which is a big number for an LCD to achieve.
This is a 6.75” IPS display with only HD+ 720p resolution. The refresh rate wasn’t given in the report either. The huge battery will push the phone’s thickness to 8.39mm. The frame is pretty durable, though, officially certified for IP66 and IP68 waterproof ratings.
Camera setup is nothing to write home about. The phone will score a 50MP main camera next to a depth mapper, and there’s going to be an 8MP selfie shooter on the Vivo Y31T. The true price figure wasn’t quoted anywhere on the leak, but they did say it’s in Oppo A6 5G’s ballpark, so we assume it’s roughly $282 (~PKR 78,000).
