Vivo Pakistan teased the Vivo Y30 on its social media yesterday with a promotional video, and WhatMobile was able to confirm that the model will make its debut in stores nationwide before July. The Y30 has a beautiful design, big storage, and a powerful battery at an affordable Vivo price tag.

You’re looking at a 6.47-inch Ultra O display that delivers an HD+ resolution and a 90.7% screen ratio. Vivo Y30’s punched in a corner and Vivo has customized the screen to present a range of animations as the user interacts with the display.

The Y30 body has a flowing, detailed design available in Moonstone White and Dazzle Blue editions — the former has its camera bump painted in the same shade. The Dazzle Blue presents a ‘sunburst’ pattern and a deep black camera island contrasted against the brilliant blue.

Three of the four lenses of Y30 by Vivo are stacked on top of an LED flash, flanked by the fourth lens inside a capsule-shaped border. Inside this array, you get a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP super macro sensor, and a 2MP bokeh unit.

The primary Vivo camera has a minuscule f/2.2 aperture, so we shouldn’t expect stellar Y30 camera performance in low-light. The wide-angle module can stretch the field up to 120°, and the macro camera allows for 4cm focus.

The MediaTek Helio P35 and Vivo’s FuntouchOS 10 power the Y30, which work together with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage. The battery to back this hardware is rated 5,000 mAh that charges over a Type-C connector but lacks any support for fast charging. For a better gaming experience, turn on the ‘Multi-Turbo 3.0’ mode that improves scheduling and optimizes performance. Go a step further with the ‘Ultra Game’ which lets you screen record and learns your brightness preferences.

Vivo Pakistan has confirmed the handset to be arriving in two variants, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 4GB Ram and 128 GB storage. WhatMobile speculates the Y30 64GB to fall around 25,000 to 30,000 Rs. while the 128GB variant is expected to anywhere from 30,000 to 36,000 Rs.
