The Vivo Y22T is on the horizon as the next addition to Vivo's Y-series lineup. Recently spotted in Thailand's NBTC database under model number V2313, the device indicated an imminent arrival in the region. It has surfaced again on Geekbench, shedding light on its core specifications.

Geekbench's listing reveals that the Vivo Y22T is driven by a Qualcomm chipset, specifically the Snapdragon 680. It seems that the circuitry will not include 5G capabilities. Coupled with 6GB of RAM and likely running on Android 13 with the FunTouch OS 13 overlay, the Y22T promises a fluid user experience.

Geekbench benchmarks the Y22T for a single-core score of 377 and a multi-core score of 1501, showcasing its performance potential. However, detailed information on other specifications is still under wraps.

A new 4G Vivo mobile is to join the ranks of the Y22 series, which already features Vivo Y22 and Y22s models. While the Y22s boasts a 6.5-inch LCD HD+ display, Snapdragon 680 chip, up to 8GB of RAM, and a dual-camera system on the back, the Y22 variant offers similar specifications but with the Helio G85 SoC.

Both handsets have 18W boosters for their 5000mAh batteries. Coupled with 50MP primary cameras, they flex secondary macro units, Dual-LED flashes, and 8MP selfie shooters under notched cutouts. Y22T falls the same lineup, so it won’t be a surprise if it showcases identical features.

In parallel news, Vivo's also sharing its focus on the imminent launch of the Vivo V29 series, with the V29e potentially making its debut overseas later this month. As Vivo readies its Vivo V29 series launch, the Y22T adds anticipation to its ever-evolving smartphone lineup. Stay tuned for further updates on Vivo's upcoming offerings.
