Good news for budget-savvy consumers in Pakistan: The Company has slashed the price of its Vivo Y22 model. The device now starts at just Rs. 57,999 for the 4/64GB variant, down from its initial Rs. 65,000 price tag. For those eyeing expanded storage, the 4/128GB variant is now available for Rs. 59,999, previously priced at Rs. 66,000.

The starter variant slashes up to Rs 7,000, a very generous discount from the company. At the same time, the higher-end 128GB variant marks up to Rs 6,000 off on the retail price, justifying the phone’s features better than ever. Here’s a brief overview of the device.

First impressions matter, and the Vivo Y22 doesn't disappoint. With its slim 8.38mm frame and black-accented glass back, the device emanates a premium vibe, deviating from its budget-friendly status. But looks aren’t the phone’s only specialty; let's dive into what makes this device worth the new price tag.

The Vivo Y22 bears a 50MP primary camera, enhanced by a 2MP auxiliary sensor—ideal for those Insta-worthy shots. Up front, there’s a 6.55-inch 2.5D curved IPS display. Despite a modest 720p resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, the latest budget Vivo mobile has a screen-to-body ratio of 82.4% and a discrete V-notch, housing an 8MP selfie camera, making it all the more appealing.

Under the hood, the Y22 is powered by MediaTek's Helio G85 processor, clocking in at 2.0GHz,  and integrated with Mali-G52 GPU. Adding fuel to this package is a sturdy 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging capabilities. For security, a side-mounted power key doubles as a fingerprint sensor.

The Type-C 2.0 port and the 3.5mm headphone jack are both included in the device, along with IP54 certification for protection against splashes. The Vivo Y22 offers solid specs for its reduced price, making it a win-win for both the manufacturer and consumers.
