Vivo Y11 has a long history, dating back to 2014 when it debuted for the first time. In 2019, the brand revived the Y11 2023 moniker again with a more modern and powerful phone. Cut to 2023, Vivo has unveiled Y11 yet again, with new and improved specifications. Let's dive in to see the latest changes.

Vivo Y11 2023's design is the first noticeable upgrade. Unlike the variant from 2019, the newcomer has a trendy look featuring flat edges, minimal colors, a frosted matte texture, and a vast camera ring. Looking at its rear, Y11 has all the traits of a 2023 design, though its front side screams 2019.

The phone has an old bezel-heavy panel towards the front, cluttered with a prominent chin and a drop notch. While it has a similar HD+ resolution and 60Hz refresh rate as the original, the screen size has slightly improved from 6.35 to 6.51 inches diagonal.

Y11 2023 features a 5MP selfie shooter at F/2.2 aperture. Compared to the phone from 2019, the resolution has dropped from 8MP F/1.8, which is unfortunate. It's the same with the primary camera; instead of a 13MP dual camera, the latest budget Vivo mobile comes with an 8MP single-lens setup.

Vivo has skipped the fingerprint reader on Y11 2023, unlike Y11 2019, which has that feature. MediaTek Helio P35, coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM, will boast a noticeable performance improvement. And for those who want to expand the storage, the phone can now hold 1TB of additional space using an SD card.

It has launched in China, so its default software is Origin OS Ocean, based on Android 12. Energizing the system is a 5000mAh cell plugged into a micro USB slot rated for 10W. Vivo Y11 2023 (4+128GB) price in China starts at CNY899, which translates to ~PKR 37,000.
