Vivo’s R&D-ing multiple flagship, mid-range, and low-end devices for a successful opening of another year. Rumors have it that Vivo Flip is in the works, and soon Vivo X90 series will commence global release. Additionally, a brand-new leak discloses a fresh mid-ranger Vivo Y100 that might debut by the end of January.

Vivo’s upcoming provision is decent in specs, according to a pro-leaker, Paras Guglani. Based on his disclosed specs, it compares well with other mid-range devices. He also added that the marketing campaign for Y100 will commence soon in an overseas market.

Ahead of the recent ensuing leak, Y100 passed through the Benchmark database. The listing showed an outdated MediaTek Dimenisty 900 SoC at its heart, which holds Cortex-A78 alpha cores for performance clocking at 2.4 GHz. Expectedly, it will run Android 13 x FunTouh OS 13 on up to 8 GB RAM.

With the setup listed above, Geekbench gave the Vivo budget new model 710 points in single and 2116 points on all eight cores. The scores are acceptable since the Dimensity 900 is an affordable 5G-ready chip. For storage, users will likely find the highest-end Y100 variant with 256GB storage.

Besides its 5G capabilities, the device will have a large display and full HD+ resolution. Another one of its listings (Google play console) affirmed these stats. In the department of optics, refresh rates, battery, and charging specs, there isn’t much in rumors or certification sightings.

BIS certifier did index the Vivo Y100 on its database but didn’t reveal anything noteworthy. Vivo will soon commence its marketing spree that might lift the cover from some of its specs. We’ll add an update on that, so stay tuned. For those of you unaware Y22 was the last Y-series handset to land in Pakistan. Vivo mobile Y22's latest price in Pakistan is around 50,000 PKR.
