The Vivo Y03t is getting a price cut in Pakistan for its 4GB + 64GB storage variant. This puts a nice little dent in the phone’s cost and brings its value up in terms of performance and specs. Vivo Y03t has been retailing in the country for Rs 27,000 until now. As of today, it’s officially available on offer with a Rs 1,000 discount.
If you decide to purchase this device right now, you’ll only need to pay Rs 25,999 at retail. As for what you get for the price, Vivo Y03t offers sub-entry-level hardware, a fairly modern design, and a big enough battery to last you a full day, essentially giving you a well-rounded mobile experience.
At this new price, we get all the standard entry-level features from Y03t. This handset is built around a 6.56” IPS that lets you navigate the UI at 90Hz speed with fluid animations. But it’s only an HD+ 720p screen, so the pixels peepers will feel slightly uncomfortable while using it.
Smooth visuals on one side, this IPS screen is also plenty bright at 528nits. Still, it does feel outdated because of the obtrusive notch taking up some area on the panel for a 5 MP selfie shooter. By no means does this Vivo latest budget mobile stand out in the category, but it is serviceable for an average user.
Vivo Y03t has a Unisoc T612 engine. This is the category where Vivo cut some corners to save production costs. Its performance pales in comparison with the original Y03, but the slower SoC is a caveat you have to bear for its sub-entry-level price.
For the rest of its specs, Y03t is essentially the same as Y03 in every other way. A 5000mAh cell and 15W wired charging are available here. Sadly, there’s no fingerprint reader on the side or atop the screen. At least, it checks the box for durability with IP54 rating splash and dust resistance.
Its dual-lens appearance might throw you off, but there’s only one functioning camera here with a 13 MP sensor. That second lens is 0.08 MP auxiliary. We have 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Still, with all its caveats, this device has more than enough features to justify the latest Rs 25,999 price tag for the Pakistani market.
