Vivo Y03 Unveiled as a Budget-Friendly Device; 90Hz Display, Helio G85, Android 14

Vivo has officially introduced its latest budget smartphone, the Vivo Y03, in Indonesia, following a series of rumors. Serving as the successor to the Vivo Y02, the Y03 packs several upgrades and features tailored for budget-conscious consumers. Have a look.


At the front of the Vivo Y03 is a 6.56-inch IPS LCD, offering HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, giving a modest viewing experience. The device sports a waterdrop notch housing a 5MP selfie camera, while its rear design boasts a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary lens and a QVGA lens, accompanied by an LED flash.

At its core, the phone has a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, ensuring ample performance for day-to-day tasks. Paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB - 128GB of internal storage, the Y03 offers up to 1TB of storage expansion via microSD card. Additionally, Vivo's Extended RAM feature allows 4GB of virtual memory.


The latest budget Vivo mobile houses a robust 5,000mAh battery supporting 15W charging via USB-C, allowing users extended usage without frequent recharges. With an Android 14-based FunTouch OS 14, the Y03 delivers a user-friendly interface and seamless navigation.


Noteworthy features include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. With dimensions measuring 163.78 X 75.73 X 8.39mm and weighing approximately 185 grams, the device scores a sleek and lightweight design, complemented by an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Vivo Y03’s price is super competitive at IDR 1,299,000 (~PKR 23,000) for the 4/64GB variant and IDR 1,499,000 (~PKR 27,000) for the 4/128GB variant, available in Green and Black color options. Expected to launch in other Asian markets soon, the Y03 aims for the entry-level segment.
