Vivo Y01, which recently got released with a similar name, is growing to include more editions. The upcoming Vivo Y01A aims at the entry-level segment and, like its standard sibling, has average specs to offer. Vivo has yet to unveil the Y01A, but a new leak delivers a few specs.

The information was shared by the Twitter user Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), who published some specs and other relevant details. As far as the look is concerned, we can speculate on the upcoming Vivo Y01A taking design cues from the standard Y01 — a rectangular, boxy camera housing, line textured back, and notched display.

Apart from the guesswork here's what the leakster has confirmed so far. Its plastic shell will come painted in multiple shades. A primary lens and an LED flash complete the camera setup on the back, featuring an 8-megapixel main shooter.

Guglani also confirms a large display (presumably IPS LCD). The source mentions it to be a 6.51” screen with a 1600 x 720, High Definition Plus resolution. The Latest Vivo mobile's front could feature a 5MP selfie camera housed inside the notch.

Inside the Vivo Y01A, the MediaTek Helio P35 will be meeting all the processing needs, just like its standard sibling. The battery info is still unknown but the phone is said to pack 2GB of RAM.  Vivo users are also said to receive a Virtual RAM Expansion feature (up to 1GB) in FuntouchOS 12. The handset is tipped to run on Android Go Edition, out of the box.

The phone also got spotted on BIS revealing just the model number and hinting at an imminent Indian launch, nothing more. However, the leaker confirms that it will launch in other countries first, hopefully, Pakistan as well.
