Last year’s X200 series continues to expand, even though the X300 lineup has already gone official. The new model they just debuted in an Asian market is the Vivo X200T. And yes, this is a pure flagship device and an upgrade over the original X200. Here’s everything you must know about the “T” variant.
The chip on the X200T is a bit faster. It’s the Dimensity 9400 Plus version with a 3.73GHz clock speed. The X200's vanilla D9400 had a 3.62GHz speed. AnTuTu showed at least 5% better performance on the Plus version. But it seems the GPU computer scores were 22% higher (Nanoreview).
The Dimensity 9400+ chip on the X200T is also wired to a faster UFS 4.1 storage. And this is a new 2026 device, so it boots to an Android 16 Origin OS 6 build from the get-go. Vivo might push 5 years of OS and 7 years of security updates to this newcomer. This was limited to 4 years on X200. They’ve also bumped the battery size on this handset. Wireless charging is also new here. The newcomer now holds a 6,200 mAh cell (vs. 5,800 mAh on the X200). There’s 90W wired charging here. They’ve also put a 40W wireless charging coil on the X200t.
We can’t say the camera has changed much. There is still a 50MP ZEISS camera trio on the back and a 32MP selfie on the screen’s punch hole. The Main shooter is an LYT702 50MP sensor, and then there’s the 50MP Ultrawide ISOCELL JN1. The third one seems to be an LYT600 50MP 3X pericope telephoto.
The visor itself is a 6.67” ZEISS Color Master 10-bit AMOLED. If you are thinking it’s the same thing as before, you are right. They haven’t touched the screen. This is still a 120Hz 1.5K panel. But the peak brightness is a bit higher on the X200T at 5000 nits.
You can already tell it looks and feels the same as the original X200. They’ve made the X200T’s middle frame out of metal. And Vivo secured an IP68/IP69 rating for it. The base price of this handset is €550 (~PKR 182,000), which is not too shabby for its 12/256GB trim.
