Vivo V70 Shows up on Geekbench with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC and 8GB RAM

Generation-over-generation upgrades slow down when companies cycle through devices twice a year. It’s the same case with Vivo V70, the replacement for their current midrange V60. The model just popped up on the IMEI database, followed by a Geekbench listing. It confirmed the SoC details there. This is everything we know about the V70 so far.

The phone is apparently being addressed with the model code V2538 on these listings. Geekbench just tested the phone under the same model. And it had more than just some performance scores to spill.

The V70 will grab a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 again. The name of that silicon isn’t specifically mentioned on the score sheet. But the core count and clock speeds make it pretty obvious. Also, this is the same chip that the Vivo V60 uses for performance.

The GPU is also consistent across generations: just the same Adreno 722. Safe to say there’s no CPU or GPU upgrade on the V70. Geekbench goes on to mention at least 8GB of RAM on the latest Vivo flagship mobile. Again, a consistent pattern is emerging here.

They will definitely pair that setup with Android 16 and Origin OS 6. All of that hardware culminates in 1235 single-core points and 3920 multicore figures. Geekbench didn’t have anything else to reveal. But here’s a screenshot of the listing anyway, in case you want to dig a little deeper.

We assume the 6-month deadline will end for the V60 somewhere in the first quarter of 2026. That’s when we’ll get to welcome the Vivo V70. They have other tasks to focus on right now, like the deployment of the X300 series in the Asian market.

The X300 and X300 Pro have been launched globally, but they are still awaited in a few global markets, and Pakistan is one of them. We don’t want to color your opinions, but usually X-series models make it to local stores. Let’s wait and see if they do the same with the X300 lineup. Keep watching the news.
