Vivo is gearing up to unveil its much-anticipated Vivo V30 series globally. Fresh on the heels of the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro launch in select markets, the spotlight now turns to the V30 and V30 Pro. Rumor has it that they might be tweaked versions of Vivo S18 and S18 Pro unveiled last month in China.
Adding to the excitement, the Vivo V30 has secured certification from the TDRA platform under model number V2318, earmarked for global release. This certification follows previous sightings on Indonesia's SDPPI, Bluetooth SIG, Taiwan's NCC, and Geekbench, hinting at an imminent launch, possibly in the first quarter of this year.
While the official details are yet to surface, rumored specifications of the Vivo V30 paint an enticing picture. The device may sport a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with an impressive 1.5K resolution (1260 x 2800p) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It will use FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14.
Under the hood, the Vivo V30 will rock the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, offering up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A robust 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging support will ensure lasting power, while an under-display fingerprint scanner will add a layer of security to the Vivo new 5G model.
Vivo V30 will specialize in photography, featuring an autofocus-enabled 50MP front camera with dual-LED flash. On the back, a stellar setup will include an OIS-enabled 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and an Aura LED circular flash unit.
