Vivo V25e Geekbench Appearance Confirms 8GB RAM and Helio G99 SoC Under The Hood

Electronics mega brand Vivo recently added the V25-series to its Mid-tier smartphone portfolio. This lineup includes a higher-end pro model, a base model, and a budget phone, also known as Vivo V25 Pro, V25 5G, and V25e, respectively. Unlike the base V25 and V25 Pro, the low-cost variant Vivo V25e has yet to make its official debut.

A few days ago, Vivo V25e's design renders were exposed. After that, it got listed on the Google play console. And now, its Geekbench appearance is making a big splash on the web.

The Geekbench is essentially a performance benchmark for the phone, which can reveal several interesting tidbits about it. Here's a brief of V25e's cameo on Geekbench.

To start things off, we have the Model number V2201 mentioned at the top for the latest V-series Vivo mobile. The same model number appeared on the Google Play console assigned to the phone Vivo V25e. Now we know that this listing belongs to the newcomer handset. From here, it should be easier to assess the remaining internal specs of the phone.

System information points to MediaTek's newly launched Helio G99 SoC (an octa-core 12nm chip clocked at 2.2Ghz frequency with integrated Mali-G57 GPU) used in V25e. It will feature 8GB of memory, probably paired with 128GB or 256GB of storage.

V25e will run Android 12 by default. On Geekbench, it scores 539 total for Single-core and 1812 for Multi-core. These numbers put Vivo V25e somewhere between entry-level and mid-range handsets.

Rumors report that V25e has a 64MP camera setup on the back, a 6.44-inch flat screen on the front, and a 4500mAh battery pack to power it up. The debut for this phone is closing in, and we will cover its in-depth review once it's out.
