Vivo appears to be working on a successor to the Vivo T1 series of smartphones, which debuted recently. Despite the lack of a release date and the fact that it is only available for speculation, the Vivo T2 just acquired an international certification verifying its existence and indicating the likelihood of the manufacturer releasing more options in the mid-range smartphone category.

According to the portal 91mobiles, the device appeared this week in the IMEI database, reinforcing the possibility of launching the Vivo T2 Series in the coming months. The smartphone should arrive as a beefier alternative compared to the recently announced Vivo T1 5G, a phone made official in India in early May. Rumors are that the handset may end up in other parts of the subcontinent.

Despite the reports pointing to the possibility of an announcement soon, so far there are not many details on the specs or the prices of the T2 smartphone, however, the announcement is expected to be made in China soon with its availability restricted to just Asia.

Unlike other documents, the leaked paper does not even reveal the model number of Vivo's new model, making it difficult to identify and raise new speculations. going by the details of the T2's predecessors, One can expect a Snapdragon platform, beefy battery, and variants with 4G or 5G.

On the front, the T2 devices will most likely have a punch-hole display or a waterdrop-style notch. Multiple cameras are expected on the phones' backs. A single camera on the back of a phone is no longer in fashion, and most Android phones now contain multiple cameras. On the front, You could see a single sensor for taking selfies. It's too early to speculate with limited information in hand so best to take it with a pinch of salt for now.
