Vivo S6 5G to have a 48MP Quad Camera Setup, New Promos Showcase the Phone's Rear Design

Vivo S6 5G is scheduled to go official on March 31st in China, and the company is teasing its design specifications ahead of the event. As per the promo posters, Vivo is refreshing the camera design with this flagship. Here’s what you need to know before the phone actually gets unveiled.

The upcoming Vivo S6 5G is seen in the hands of Vivo’s brand ambassador, Turbo Lio. The image shows a familiar ‘Breathing Crystal’ look, but with an oreo-shaped quad-camera housing.

Vivo Price in Pakistan

The primary of the four cameras on the back has been confirmed to be a 48MP lens. The rear shell appears to be a curved glass, that’s chamfered around the edges. The phone is expected to have a mid-range Vivo price tag

Upon a closer look, you can spot a quad-camera, arranged in a T-shaped layout. The power button and the volume rocker are mounted on the right side of the device. An LED flash rests right under the camera setup. There’s no physical module to be seen, so the upcoming flagship likely features an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The front panel hasn’t been revealed yet, but given that rear-shell design is similar to that of Redmi K30 Pro (and equally stale), it could rock a dual punch-hole selfie camera. A JD.com listing points to two different color options: Pink to Blue-White and Dark Blue to White colors without mentioning the Vivo prices. The leak comes from a 3C certification that lists the model as Vivo V1962BA.

The exact specifications are scarce, but the unknown battery might come with support for 18W fast charging — a downgrade from last year’s 22.5W rapid charging. Vivo could be making the cutback to keep the 5G sub-flagship in the mid-range price bracket. Based on that, we expect the model to run on either an Exynos 980 or a Snapdragon 765G platform.

The chances of Vivo S6 5G coming to the Pakistani market are very thin on the ground as we don't have a 5G infrastructure as of yet but we can expect a 4G variant of the handset if Vivo releases it in the near future.
