Tecno Pova 7 Series Goes Official with Five Brand-New Phones Headed to Global Markets

Tecno has just introduced five brand-new devices to its Pova family. These newcomers are intended for the global markets. Tecno Pova 7 Ultra 5G leads the charge, and the Pova 7 Pro 5G, Pova 7 5G, and the baseline Pova 7 follow. We’ll soon find these devices in South/Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin American countries.

Since this was just an announcement for the series and not the actual debut, Tecno didn’t get into the specifics of each model. We saw some details about the Ultra phone’s battery, charging speeds, and performance in the keynote, but they didn’t disclose anything about other models, except the Pova 7 Curve, which is already available in the global market.

Tecno Pova 7 Ultra and Pova 7 Pro 5G are given the high-end treatment. One of them has the Dimensity 8350 chip and up to 30W wireless charging. The Ultra also has a 6000mAh battery, which you can recharge with a 70W wired charger. There’s always 10W reverse wired charging at your disposal with this newcomer.

The Pova 7 Ultra is a true-gaming phone, not just because of that Interstellar design, but there’s also a 12-layer Hyper Cool vapor chamber to keep the battery and SoC temperature down. Its dual-speaker setup and a 4D haptic motor make this Tecno Pova new model even more special.

Of course, the Pro version is ranked second to the Ultra variant. It’s got the same design and the 30W wireless charging speed. Tecno didn’t expose Pova 7 Pro’s specs, but it’s obvious that it has the same AI tools as the others — the Tecno AI suite and Tecno AI Anywhere portal.

There are AI features stuffed into every corner of its HiOS 15 system. We learn that its software is deeply integrated with artificial intelligence. It has useful tools like Ask Ella, AI Writing, Circle to Search, and the AI Studio tools to manipulate photos and videos.

The 30W wireless charging is standard across the board, so you will find this feature on the base Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 (4G) variants as well. Sadly, no other specifications for these two models are available at this time. Hopefully, we’ll get to learn more about each device once Tecno starts shipping them to the global markets. Stay tuned for the full coverage of the Tecno Pova 7 series.
