Some countries received the 5G version of Tecno Camon 50 Pro, and others got the 4G trim. Of course, the latter was shipped to the Pakistani market. The company has decided to deploy at least one Camon device in our market that has 5G. Thus began the teaser spree for Tecno Camon 50 Ultra. The device will land in Pakistan soon, and this is what you need to know.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra is built around a Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chip. That means it has 5G support. They haven’t really teased any of this phone’s specs yet. But we suspect it’s the same handset that was globally deployed last month. So all of its details are already out there.
Design doesn’t change across the three phones. This Camon 50 Ultra looks exactly the same as the Pro. A curved AMOLED screen is at the front that does a pretty good job of hiding the bezels. This is also a 6.78” panel at a 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution.
The Camon 50 Ultra also has something called ProXDR Eye-care. It should reduce eye strain during long sessions. There’s extra protection for the Ultra with Gorilla Glass 7i. Of course, that screen also has a punch hole to conceal a 50MP selfie shooter. Here are the latest Tecno Price catalog and trends of April 2026.
While we are on the subject, the first camera on the back is actually a 50MP Sony LYT 700C 1/1.56” outsole with OIS. It’s apparently a big upgrade for low-light photos and videos. There’s another camera here with 50MP resolution and a 3x telephoto zoom.
Then comes the third shooter. It’s an 8MP ultrawide lens with a 112˚ FoV. The cameras can push 4K videos at 30 FPS. They have an entire AI package dedicated to the optics. AI 60x SuperZoom, Super-Zoom FlashSnap, Live Photos, and even underwater photography are included. The phone has an IP69 rating.
It’s a 7.4mm thin slab. Yet the Camon 50 Ultra is still outfitted with a huge 6,500 mAh cell in a very limited space. The charging speed is only 45W. There are two speakers here and an IR blaster. WiFi 6 and a screen fingerprint reader are also included here. The pricing will be revealed at launch.
