Meeting the world very soon is Tecno's brand new Camon 20 lineup. Three phones from the company, one Vanilla Camon 20 and two Camon 20 Pros, recently made an entry on Google's signing sheet. And now, Tecno Camon 20 Premier has popped out in leaks with a hands-on image plus some specs.

The source for today's leak, Paras Guglani, not only shared some insights into the Premier's specs but also gave away the first-ever hands-on look of the phone, all before launch. He also pointed out that the series should unveil in May.

Per the leaked info, the upcoming phone goes by the model number CK9N. It will bring MediaTek's Dimensity 1200 chipset at the core. Fabricated using a 6-nanometer process technology, it uses eight cores — one Cortex-A78 clocked at 3000 MHz, three Cortex-A78s operating at 2600 MHz, and four Cortex-A55s running at 2000 MHz.

The chipset's architect puts it in league with SoCs like the Snapdragon 870 — a flagship engine of its time. Furthermore, as depicted in the multi-breakout images, the phone boasts a distinctive pentagonal camera setup on the rear. It's worth noting that the Tecno mobile price is competitive with other smartphones in its class.

There are three possible color variations with Tecno Camon 20 Premier, Black, Blue, and Pink/Burgundy. These colors complement the phone's overall design and visual appeal. While there has been no official confirmation from the manufacturer yet, the consistency of the leaked information suggests the color combo is likely.

In addition to its unique rear-end design, the Tecno Camon 20 Premier also appears to have an impressive front display. As per Guglani's leak, the phone is to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080p resolution and a high refresh rate of 120Hz.

Other notable Tecno Camon 20 Premier specs may include on-screen fingerprint recognition, dual stereo speakers, a 108MP primary sensor OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide lens with macro capability, and software running HiOS 13 based on Android 13. While it does not seem to be a flagship device, it is sure trying to mock one with the removed 3.5mm headphone jack. The tipster says it should cost around ~$300 (~86,000 PKR).
