Introduced earlier this year, Tecno’s Camon 15 Pro is now available for an incredible Rs. 2,000 discount. Instead of Rs. 29,999, you can now pick up your Camon 15 Pro for Rs. 27,999. Here’s a quick breakdown of what this low-mid-range Tecno offers.
With the Camon 15 Pro having the front-facing camera mounted on a motorized pop-up module, the Tecno display is left uninterrupted, edge-to-edge. It’s an IPS LCD panel that stretches 6.6” across, producing an FHD+ resolution and reaching a high 91.2% screen-to-body ratio — bound inside a slim bezel profile.
A brush-stroke pattern is painted on the rear-shell, which features a capacitive fingerprint scanner and a quad-camera laid out inside a lengthened housing. You can pick from Ice Jadeite and Opal White editions, and that too, of course, at the new discounted Tecno price.
The camera array uses a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP 115° ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an AI lens that feeds the AI algorithm inputs. You don’t get a dedicated macro cam, but Tecno promises 2cm closeup photography on Camaon 15 Pro. The system can zoom in up to 8x, and it uses Tecno’s TAIVOS software to produce better low-light shots. Tecno has further augmented it with AI detection, Body Shaping, and customized beautification. A 32MP sensor lives behind the front camera.
MediaTek’s Helio P35 platform powers the device, in combination with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (expandable with a microSD card). The octa-core CPU inside is clocked at 2.3GHz and hooked to a 4,000 mAh battery (that lacks any support for fast charging). Aside from fingerprint unlocking, you can also secure your device with the Face Unlock 2.0.
Tecno ships the Camon 15 Pro with HiOS 6.0 (built on Android 10) and a few custom features like the ‘Social Turbo.’
