Samsung launching a new smartphone series with phones named Rize 10, Rize 20 and Rize 30?

A deep internal reorganization is taking place in Samsung after a "not very exciting 2018". The South Koreans cannot afford to replicate the year that's just about to end in fiscal terms. So the rationalization process of the Samsung smartphone range could be wider than expected.

In addition to the new Galaxy S10, the innovative Galaxy F folding smartphone, and the new entry-level M series, Samsung is reported to have filed a trademark application in several countries last week for a brand new "Rize" Series.

The trademarks registered by the Samsung are Rize10, Rize20 and Rize30. Exact details aren't spelled out yet However, speculations are going on that Samsung is planning on launching a new Galaxy Rize line up.

We know Samsung is planning on expanding its catalog globally and these newly registered names might be the part of that plan. They already had the winning high-end flagships like Galaxy S and Note under their belt so no worries there.

Samsung is trying to cover the mid-range with Galaxy A lineup while the M series is soon going to be out, to take care of the low mid-range segment. So there's a strong chance that this can be the start of a new low-end series or it may very well be a new accessories lineup, who knows right? So we'll have to be a little patient here before jumping on to any conclusions and wait for some more details to surface in the coming days.
