At the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event today, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S7 series and its next-gen wearable, the Galaxy Watch 3. The new-and-improved Tab S7 and Tab S7+ are a leap from the previous generation, focused on productivity, while the Watch 3 brings a timeless yet modern and sophisticated design.

This year’s signature Mystic Bronze is painted on a metal build, that’s not just lightweight but also the slimmest on the market for a tablet of this size. The S7+ features a giant 12.4” SuperAMOLED screen that delivers a spectacular 120Hz refresh rate and a 2800x1752 resolution. With the S7, its screen size shrinks to 11”, and even though it’s an LPTS TFT panel, it reaches the same silky smooth refresh rate.

The new S-pen receives its biggest upgrade yet. Using intelligent AI software and the extreme 120Hz refresh rate, the latency has been reduced to 9ms, boosting the responsiveness of this iconic stylus for a more life-like writing experience. It also lets you sync notes across your devices, record audio notes, auto straighten scribbled-on text, and create audio bookmarks.

Microsoft’s collaboration with Samsung integrates your PC and tablet— making your notes and reminders accessible across different platforms. Once they’re linked, the apps on your Samsung device are also directly usable from your desktop.

The Watch3 reintroduces the one-of-its-kind precision rotating bezel that lets you navigate the UI, control your music and health monitors. Available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, the wearable is lighter-than-ever but has a bigger display. The latter comes in an ultra-premium Titanium edition as well that features a metal strap instead of the leather one. The Mystic Bronze colorway makes an appearance but only the 41mm variant comes in it; the 45mm sports Mystic Black and Mystic Silver shades.

The screens are a 360x360 px SuperAMOLED panel protected by Gorilla Glass DX. It has 8GB of native storage, 1GB of memory, and a 247mAh/340mAh battery capacity.

The health monitoring suite has ECG, blood oxygen saturation, blood pressure sensor, and sleep management. Also pre-loaded on the Watch3 is the ‘Fitness’ app with 120+ professionally designed fitness programs.
