Samsung Galaxy M33 5G Officially Debuts; New Colors, Faster Charging, and Smoother Display

Following a string of unofficial reports and product leaks, the Galaxy M33 5G was quietly dropped in the Philippines. Samsung Galaxy A33's M series cousin is already available in stores there and should be headed to more countries soon. We have the pricing and features of this mid-range smartphone.

Samsung has altered the design of the M series to distinguish it from the current-gen Galaxy A-line. For starters, the color selection is different. You can pick the Samsung Galaxy M33 in blue, green, and blue shades. The finish has a single-tone gradient, in contrast to the Galaxy A series's soft, pastel matte colors. Plus, the camera mound is a square with a quad-lens matrix.

We find a notch bleeding in the Galaxy M33 5 G's display, and it's a 6.6" TFT panel. In contrast to modern IPS LCDs, this type lacks consistent and sharp viewing angles. But it peaks at 1080P in resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The rear camera cluster on the latest Samsung android mobile is an array of 50MP (f1.8) primary, 5MP ultra-wide, and two 2MP macro and portrait shooters. Each lens has a corresponding shooting mode built into the default camera app.

Next, we look at the performance. The 5000 mAh battery inside the Galaxy M33 5G gives you all-day battery life. It's quickly powered with 25W charging support. But the campaign against the charging brick has reached the Galaxy M series (after the Galaxy A and S line.) Because the 25W adapter is sold separately.

The 3.5mm audio jack is still onboard, however. So is the side power + thumbprint scanner button. You get 8GB of memory and 128GB of expandable internal storage. The Galaxy A33 5G starts from ₱ 16,990 (~ Rs. 59,000) but we expect it to be a bit cheaper in the Asian markets.
