Samsung Galaxy F41 Unveiling Set for October 8; A Familiar Design with a Big 6,000 mAh Battery

The much-speculated new lineup of Galaxy phones, the Galaxy F Series, and its debut model, Samsung Galaxy F41 have just been announced by the official channels. It's too early to say if/when the series will arrive in Pakistan but Samsung has published a landing page on a popular online vendor’s website in India, giving a sneak preview of the device and announcing the release date. Let’s take a look.

The Offical Galaxy F41 teaser reveals a familiar design language. More precisely, the Galaxy M-series (launched in Pakistan lately). It’s a recycled Galaxy M31 design. Despite declaring the M series exclusively for India, it did eventually arrive in Pakistan recently and we are hoping the same for the Galaxy F series.

The front display of F41 is bound inside wafer-thin bezels shaved off to the very edges, with a circular notch dripping into it. It’s a super AMOLED panel, presenting a high screen-to-body ratio.

The Samsung Galaxy F41 backplate seems plasticky and has an oversized squarish camera bump. Plus, a standard rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner. Samsung has rounded the edges and painted it in at least one colorway: a glossy sea green. Black and Blue editions might be in the cards too.  At an affordable samsung mobile price range you get three cameras — with a design almost entirely inherited from the new Note — make up the rear-facing optics array. They are circular, symmetrical, and stacked on top of each other.

Based on the speculation surrounding the new series, the Galaxy F41 by Samsung is supposed to be a camera-first, performance-focused phone. While we’re not told the camera the details, the phone is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery —  following the recent industry trend of ever-increasing battery sizes. After the new Galaxy M51 and its 7,000 mAh battery, the F41 would be the second Samsung this season to feature a capacity that high.

Rumors point to a 64MP main camera and a 32MP selfie camera. Samsung’s Exynos 9611 chipset might power the Galaxy F41, paired with 6GB of memory and 64GB/128GB of native storage. It unveils on 8th October, lands in India first, and hopefully, the Pakistani market should follow soon — given Samsung’s typical release calendar.
