The fight to launch the first smartphone with a display hole is on its full swing! After Huawei's announcement to launch the new Nova 4 with an in-Display selfie camera hole on December the 17th, now Samsung says it'll launch its Galaxy A8s with Infinity O display even sooner, on 10th December.

Samsung has posted an image on the Chinese social media website called Weibo that not only confirms the Infinity-O screen for Galaxy A8s but also mentions the launch date of A8s as the next Monday, December the 10th.

The South Koreans may seem like winning here by taking the World's first title under their belt but the things can go in any direction as we have yet to see a response from Huawei.

The displays for both the smartphones are made by the world's leading display maker in China called BOE. We don't yet know much about the Huawei's Nova 4 apart from some rumored key specs but Samsung A8s's specs are circulating the web for quite a while now.

Presumably, Samsung Galaxy A8s device will be equipped with an Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 chipset, 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of flash memory. The Display size is enormous with 6.3 inches, supporting a FHD+ resolution of  2340 x 1080 pixels and there's also a triple camera setup on the back.
