Samsung Galaxy A70s is now official, might soon arrive in Pakistan with 64 megapixel main camera

After a series of leaks and rumors, Samsung has finally made the A70s globally official as an upgrade to the already familiar Galaxy A70, unveiled earlier this year in March. the handset hits the Indian market first and will spread to the other countries later on, including Pakistan.


Visually similar to the previous generation, Samsung Galaxy A70 brings innovation to its new main rear camera, which now has a 64 megapixels sensor with f / 1.8 aperture. Samsung's own ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor is used in the main shooter while the other two rear sensors remain the same including an 8MP 123-degree ultra-wide-angle with f/ 2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth camera. The earlier Galaxy A70 had a 32-megapixel main camera.


The Galaxy A70s now also features a new design on the back with a geometric pattern that is also seen on the Samsung Galaxy A30s, launched yesterday in Pakistan and the upcoming Galaxy A50s, soon to hit the local market.

Not to mention, the Samsung A70s is also similar to the Galaxy A70 in many ways. For instance, the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 20: 9 aspect ratio at 2400 × 1080 pixels remains unchanged, as does the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset. The front camera also has the same 32 megapixels snapper and a battery capacity of 4,500 mAh also remains the same supporting a powerful 25 Watt quick charge.


The fingerprint reader still comes under the screen & the Galaxy A70s also offers USB-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The operating system version will initially include Android 9 Pie with Samsung's One UI on top.

The Galaxy A70s is presented in three color options: red Prism Crush Red, white Prism Crush White and black Prism Crush Black. The phone is launched in India in two variants where prices are INR 28,999 or about 64500 PKR for the 6GB/128GB variant while the 8GB/128GB variant costs INR 30,999 or about 68,000 Pakistani rupees. The exact launch dates for Pakistan are not yet Known.
