Samsung Galaxy A56 & A36 Just Got a Major Upgrade with AI Slow Motion Videos

The newer Galaxy S phones have an AI Slow Motion feature, which can be accessed from the Gallery or the stock Video Player app. This is a very useful tool and so far missing from the A series. Samsung has now decided to deploy this feature on the Galaxy A36 and A56 using its Galaxy Enhance-X app.

This AI tool will let you create slow-motion clips from a normal video just by tapping and holding the screen. That specific part will be trimmed and saved to the gallery as a slow-mo shot. Galaxy A36 and A56 do not have the Galaxy AI suite, so you need to access this AI script from the Enhance X app.

For those who don’t know, the Enhance X app is a one-stop shop for all your AI media enhancement tools. It’s for those devices that don’t have the official Galaxy AI suite. It’s Samsung’s way of offering its budget buyers the latest AI technology and tools, which simply can’t be deployed to the users through a software update.

Enhance X app already has features to remove blur ABD reflections or whip up some creative edits through the media in your Gallery. Samsung’s official update to the app has just added the new AI Slow Motion feature to the collection, but it’s only limited to latest 5G Samsung mobiles for the time being.

If you own either of these devices, look for this feature in the Galaxy Enhance X app. Tap the slow-mo section and choose a video you would like to edit. Then, all you need to do is tap and hold to add slow motion to a specific part of the video and save it to the Gallery.

From one original video, you can extract at least three slow-mo shots using the app. You can also add the slow-motion effect to specific sections of the video for dramatic effect. If, for some reason, you don’t see this tool in the Enhance X app, make sure to update it to version “15.2.17.”

Galaxy A56 and A36 only came with limited AI functions out of the box. Samsung’s official name for it is Awesome Intelligence. As clever as the naming strategy is, it doesn’t seem to have a lot of media enhancement tools compared to Galaxy AI. Enhance X app is a great fix for it, which you can download through the official Galaxy Store.
