Product leaks surrounding the Galaxy A13 5G continue to pile up. The upcoming successor of the Samsung Galaxy A12 has already been featured in public certifications and mockups. And now we get the detailed specifications and pricing for the new A13 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is more compact and minimalist than ever. The design mimics the Galaxy A32 that features three lenses sticking out of the shell without a dedicated camera casing. It’s a cluster of 50MP wide, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP portrait-enhancing cameras.

The Dimensity 700, MediaTek’s cheapest 5G chip, is at the heart of Galaxy A13 5G. It’s built on a 7nm process and came out earlier this year. It uses the mid-range Mali G57 GPU, so don’t expect the graphics performance to be exceptional.

It’s more power-efficient than traditional 4G chips that should contribute to better battery life. In either case, the A13 will perform much faster than the Galaxy A12.

The 5000 mAh battery inside the Galaxy A13 5G uses 25W charging — currently the quickest in any Samsung new Galaxy model. It works with 4GB/6GB/8GB of memory and 64GB/128GB of internal storage (presumably expandable.)

The screen has a notch in it. It’s a 6.48” IPS LCD that peaks at a 1080P resolution. The refresh rate is still unclear. We find a side-facing thumbprint reader doubling as the power button.

When it launches, the Galaxy A13 5G will become the most affordable 5G phone in Samsung’s catalog. Rumors put its starting price at $249 (~ Rs. 42,700.)
