Redmi Note 12 4G Unveiled with a New Snapdragon 685 SoC, 120Hz AMOLED, & 33W AC

Xiaomi's latest Redmi Note Series has finally made its way to Europe, marking an exciting milestone for the Note 12 Pro+, Note 12 Pro, and the Note 12's global release cycle. While It's true that all three models have a certain degree of familiarity, Xiaomi has spruced up the series by adding a new member dubbed the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 4G


The vanilla 4G variant from the series boasts a newly announced SoC, semi-premium hardware, and a relatively cheaper cost. Here's a quick rundown of the latest Redmi Note 12 4G specifications list. 

Redmi Note 12 4G has got a design refresh. In contrast to the standard 5G model with a curvy design, the 4G newcomer has a flat backplate and straight edges. With its new boxy design, the phone rocks a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel, FHD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. 


While the 5G variant sports Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, the 4G Redmi Note 12 backs the newly announced Snapdragon 685 SoC. In conjunction, the new 4G Xiaomi mobile has multiple memory options. Users can choose from 4/6/8GB RAM and 64/128 GB storage. 


It's also slightly better in the camera department, boasting 50MP AI primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP depth mapper. Under the screen, its punch hole cutout features a 13 MP selfie shooter with HDR support and 1080p video recording.

A Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the phone's display, and an IP53 rating makes its chassis impervious to minor water splashes and dust. Right off the bat, it supports Android 13  x MIUI 14. Redmi Note 12 4G draws power from a 5000mAh cell with up to 33W charging input. Atop the power key, it also has a side-mounted biometric reader. It starts at a low cost of 199 Euros (~61,000 PKR).
