As we are waiting for the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro launch in Pakistan. the brand continues to tease its global audience with its next inline asset. Earlier, X2 Pro was teased by the company on Chinese social Weibo, as a powerful device with Snapdragon 855 Plus and now we are hearing about it having a display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

A few weeks ago, the company's head of product, Dereck Wang, posted about the future Realme mobile phone on Weibo, which would have a 90Hz display and would be cheaper than the OnePlus 7T. Well, guess what? He now shares an image to confirm what he said earlier and it also seems like you can easily toggle to and fro between a screen refresh rate of 60Hz and 90Hz.

As it seems, Realme not only hopes to rival Xiaomi directly (Pocophone F2) but also the OnePlus. The 3 companies have been competing hard in the Asian market, especially in India, where Realme also has its headquarters.

What more to expect from Realme X2 Pro?

In addition to the Snapdragon 855 Plus, the Realme X2 Pro will have a 6.4-inch screen with Full HD + resolution and the mentioned 90Hz display refresh rate. The screen has a water-drop notch. The question is whether the display technology will be Super AMOLED or just simple IPS.

For cameras, the Realme X2 Pro is expected to meet the current trends by including a triple rear camera setup. One of the main sensors will be 64 MP with the front camera being 32 MP, remaining the same as the previous model without any major upgrades. Regarding the operating system, Realme will put ColorOS 6 (based on Android Pie) as usual in its upcoming equipment.

The handset is expected to hit the Indian markets soon as it had already been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). As far as Pakistan is concerned it's still too early to say anything regarding the price or its availability as currently, we have the Realme 5 series inline for October 2nd launch followed by the Realme XT in October end.
