You can count on Realme to bring premium smartphones for a not-so-premium price. And while its portfolio only featured upper-mid-range devices, the sub-brand of Oppo has finally unveiled its first true flagship offering Realme X2 Pro in India along with the 5S, hinting an imminent launch in Pakistan. Here’s everything you need to know.

The frame is sandwiched between two Gorilla Glass 5 Panels, with the bac panel rocking a 3D glass design. On the front, you’re looking at a notch, and punch-hole-free Super AMOLED display that produces a 1080X2400P FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz screen refresh rate -- a higher refresh rate contributes towards a smoother UI experience. Under this display, sits an integrated fingerprint reader that can unlock your phone in under 0.2 seconds.

The internals are just robust as you’d expect from a flagship. You get a whopping 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of RAM baked into its blazing-fast Snapdragon 855+ chipset. The power cell maxes out at 4,000 mAh that can be fully charged in a little over 30 minutes, thanks to 50W Flash Charge tech.

In related news, Realme also released the much-anticipated and long-rumored Realme 5s at the same launch event. Realme 5s is another excellent example of Realme’s budget offerings. It packs a 6.51-inch LCD that brings an HD+ resolution and features a tiny water-drop notch.

The back panel houses a quad-camera setup on the top left corner as well as a capacitive fingerprint scanner. The primary lens is a Samsung-manufactured 48-megapixel module, and it is complemented with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a pair of 2-megapixel modules.

The hardware (aside from the optics) remains just as impressive. At the heart of the Realme 5s is a Snapdragon 665 chipset rounded off by 4 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage. The battery offers 5,000 mAh capacity and 10W fast charging.

Realme X2 Pro is retailing in India for roughly $420 or 64,000 PKR, while the Realme 5s comes with a price tag of $150 or 24,000 PKR. At any rate, this launch in India signals that a release in Pakistan is just around the corner.
