Realme is introducing Realme 7 Pro and Realme C15 in Pakistan today, along with four other smart products — realme SmartWatch S, Buds Air Pro, N1 Sonic electric toothbrush, and Cam 360. The event starts at 7:00 PM and you can catch it live on Facebook or YouTube. Fans who participate in Realme’s ‘Luckiest Person in Pakistan’ draw get a chance to win exciting prizes and meet a surprise celebrity.

Realme 7 Pro

Let’s talk about the highlight of the event first. Realme 7 Pro reflects the new mainstream direction this once enthusiast-focused brand has taken. Their phones have a wider audience now, instead of targeting the enthusiast crowds that look for unique features and extraordinary performance-to-price ratios. But there’s a catch (more on that in a few).

Their new design language, for instance, is a far cry from the pure eye-candy liquid lightning aesthetic of the Realme 6 Pro. The back is plastic now, not glass. It has a mirror finish to it like every generic budget phone this year.

The extra ultra-wide selfie camera is gone. So is the 12MP telephoto lens and its 20x magnification. The processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, hasn’t changed from the last-gen 6 Pro. Even the 90Hz refresh rate has been dialed back to 60Hz.

But, the 30W flash charging gets a big upgrade. Realme 7 Pro has a 4500 mAh battery and jaw-dropping 65W fast charging support for it -- the technology can fully top up your device in less than 35 minutes! A 6.5” OLED display replaces the 90 Hz LCD. Save for the telephoto, the rear-camera array is essentially the same — 64MP standard lens (made by Sony), 8MP wide-angle camera, and two space-fillers for macro and ‘B&W’ shots. Realme is betting on the flagship-killer fast charging and the OLED screen, and the starting price completes that picture. WhatMobile expects it to start from Rs. 45,999 — the same as Realme 6 Pro after the recent discount.

Realme C15

The Realme C15 is the mid-tier model in Realme’s new budget-first C-series. It features a 6000 mAh battery and 18W fast charging to power it up. The processor is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460, running the realmeUI — based on Android10. You can pick from 3GB/4GB memory + 64GB storage variants.

The 6.5” HD+ screen is LCD, notched, and coated in Gorilla Glass. We have four cameras on the back, headlined by a 13MP primary and an 8MP wide-angle lens. Plus, there are two-megapixel ‘B&W’ and ‘retro’ sensors. Realme C15 also adopts the geometric design, available in silver and blue (just like the Realme 7 Pro).
