The Realme 14 series has been added with a brand new member today. This new device is called “Realme 14T,” and it features an AMOLED screen, a Dimensity 6300 chip, and a massive battery. Based on the phone’s price tag, Realme has positioned this newcomer as an entry-level phone.
This handset comes with a 6.67” Full HD+ AMOLED, a 1080p resolution panel with around 386 ppi density. 120Hz is the refresh rate of this AMOLED and the brightness peaks at around 2100 nits in specific use cases. Those bezels around the display are extremely thin and uniform with a small punch hole cutout for the selfie shooter.
There’s a fingerprint reader at the bottom of this screen. It uses an optical sensor to detect thump impressions. Realme 14T also has the best-in-class durability rated at IP69 for both dust and water resistance. The phone not only survives full water submersion, but it’s safe against high-pressure water jets.
Realme 14T has the latest Android 15 system, with all the modern bells and whistles of Realme UI 6.0. Dimensity 6300 SoC handles the operating system and the phone has been given up to 8 GB of RAM to deal with background apps and tasks.
There’s also 128 GB of storage on this Realme 5G latest model, though it can be upgraded to 256 GB for a higher price. Sadly, the phone allows no SD card support for extra space. Its cameras are passable. The rear shooter is a 50MP Main OmniVision OV50D40 sensor with a secondary lens, helping as a depth mapper.
That selfie cam on the front has a 16MP shooter. There’s no NFC on this model and the WiFi is only 5GHz Dual-Band. It does have two speakers and stereo sound. It’s missing out on the headphone jack, but at least it has a high-res DAC for wireless headphones.
Reame 14T’s power source is impressive. There’s a 6000mAh battery inside this phone, which refills via a 45W adapter from 1-50% in less than 30 minutes. As far as the pricing is concerned, Realme 14T starts at $210 (~PKR 59,000) with 8/128 GB memory trim. At $234 (~PKR 65,000), the 14T has a variant with 8/256 GB memory.
