Realme 14 Series to Arrive Next Week with Pakistan’s First Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC

It’s been a while since the company officially debuted the Realme 14 series. The last device to enter this lineup was a vanilla Realme 14 5G, which has the world’s first Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip. Almost two months after its global launch, the phone is now headed to the Pakistani market, as confirmed by their recent press release.

The press release is titled “Realme 14 Series to Debut on July 14th,” which leads us to believe that there are multiple devices on their way here. A social media post by Realme confirms there’s also a Realme 14T 5G coming to the local market. However, the company bids all the attention to the baseline Realme 14 5G, which could bring Pakistan’s first Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC on July 14th.

This is still very much a mid-range platform, as are all the Snapdragon 6 series chips. But the performance is pushed quite high on this newcomer. Realme claims that this can score over 810k points on AnTuTu, which is downright impressive in our opinion.

This Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip is running a Kryo Prime Cortex-A720 core at a max frequency of 2.3 GHz on a 4nm node. It’s efficient by nature and runs cool under heavy loads due to the Realme 5G latest model’s 6050mm² VC bionic cooling solution. According to the press release, the SD 6 Gen 4 has gained almost 35% efficiency over the older chip, which means more battery life for the user.

Now, the official release article may have kept the details vague, but we already know what to expect from the Realme 14 5G. This middle-league phone has a 6.67” display and only a 1080p resolution. It’s a flat AMOLED, which comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2000 nits, which isn’t too shabby for a phone in this segment.

There’s a “Titan“ 6000mAh power pack under its shell, and it’s refilled by a 45W wired charger. We also see an IP69 rating on the Realme 14 5G. A 50MP main camera lies on the back, and a 16MP selfie shooter points forward through a punch hole. Let’s not forget the highlight, which is a ring LED Flash for the cameras.

Realme says that the expected price for the 14 series 5G is around PKR 100,000. We assume it’s the sticker cost for the base Realme 14 5G. There are signs of another device coming to Pakistan, a cheaper alternative, perhaps, called the “Realme 14T 5G.”

The “T” variant has almost the same specs and design as the vanilla model, but the chipset is swapped out for a weaker one. There’s a Dimensity 6300 SoC inside the Realme 14T, which drops its video recording quality to 1080p and significantly cuts the GPU performance. We might find their true prices on July 14th, the official date for the Realme 14 series launch in Pakistan. Stay tuned for a more in-depth coverage.
