Xiaomi POCO X3 NFC Launches in Pakistan; Pre-orders Get an Early Bird Discount

The POCO X3 NFC went official in Pakistan on schedule earlier today, and it’s now available for pre-order with an ‘early bird’ discount for first the 500 customers. With each pre-order, Xiaomi is throwing in a free Mi Power Bank 3. We’ve already covered the newest ‘flagship killer’ from Xiaomi’s sub-brand, but for our readers out of the loop, here’s a quick rundown.

The Xiaomi's Poco X3 promises to be ‘exactly what you need’ for a superior gaming experience. We start with the performance. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G debuted with the X3 NFC. It’s far from a flagship experience but it’s the best-in-tier performer with a thin 8nm manufacturing process and a processor split into eight cores, clocked at a maximum of 2.3GHz. Multi-tasking is handled by 6GB of memory, and the storage goes up to 128GB.

No phone claiming to be a performance beast would be complete without a cooling system. The X3 uses a combination of multi-layer graphite and copper heat pipe solutions for better heat management.

For visuals, the Poco X3 NFC display manages a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, theoretically allowing you to hit 120 frames per second when you’re gaming. Ranking at the top of the Xiaomi price list, the handset also makes the UI/UX smoother than traditional screens. To make the gameplay snappier, more responsive, the X3 has a 240Hz touch sampling rate -- twice what you’d find in typical 120Hz phones.

Since a higher refresh rate chews away at your battery life, the Poco X3 has an adaptive power-saving feature that cycles between 60Hz and 120Hz depending on what the screen is rendering.

Speaking of battery life, the Xiaomi Poco X3 runs on a 5160 mAh cell that fast charges over 33W. Poco advertises that it can fully charge your device in just over an hour.

The 6.67” screen on the POCO X3 is an FHD+ panel surrounded in slim bezels and a hole punch cutout on top-center. It’s LCD though, not AMOLED. Hi-Res Audio certified dual stereo speakers allow you to immerse yourself better. Plus, a ‘precisely tuned Z-axis linear motor’ has custom vibration patterns, mapped to in-game actions for optimized haptic feedback.

X3’s camera cluster is decently high-res, housed inside an odd camera bump design. You get a 64MP main camera, a 13MP 119° wide-angle sensor (although POCO calls it ultra-wide which it isn’t), and a 2MP depth and macro duo. It comes in Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue and is aggressively priced at Rs. 40,999.
