POCO is soon coming out with a new edition of the mid-range POCO X3. After thE Xiaomi Poco F3 GT, teasers for the X3 GT are already up on their social media. They feature specs and a launch timeline for the upcoming POCO phone, but no previews. The rumor mill, however, has leaked the product images ahead of the launch.

In typical POCO fashion, the Xiaomi POCO X3 GT is not an original POCO but a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G that came out in China this year. The global version of this Redmi features an identical design but with POCO’s branding.

We’re looking at a lined textured back, offered in blue, black, and white. The camera plate has chrome accents and three lenses. This array is made of 64 MP wide, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro cameras.

Out on the front, the POCO X3 GT has a hole-punch screen. It’s a 6.6” IPS LCD with a Full HD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus, and support for HDR10 content. A 16MP selfie lens is embedded in the panel of the new Xiaomi mobile phone.

The build lacks an audio jack, but you get dual stereo speakers tuned by JBL. It also includes a side thumbprint reader, IR blaster, NFC support, and an IP53 rating against dust and water splashes. The POCO X3 GT uses the next-gen UFS 3.1 storage standard and upwards of 8GB of memory for smooth multitasking.

Since the phone is simply a renamed Redmi, the specs inside the POCO X3 GT remain unchanged too. Its 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1100 5G is powered by a massive 5000 mAh battery. POCO ships it with a blazing-fast 67W charger that delivers a full charge in only 42 minutes. MIUI 12.5, built on Android11, runs on the X3 GT, out of the box. We will have the pricing details to report when the phone debuts in Malaysia on July 28.
